The Salesforce Tower Climb: A Gateway to the Fourth Industrial Revolution

As Ireland takes its place as a world leader in technology and business expertise during the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it's fitting that we return to the historic British Rail Hotel – but this time, not as unskilled laborers, but as global leaders in the new technologically empowered business world.

For centuries, our country's best and brightest have emigrated across the world to fuel the labor needs of previous industrial revolutions. Today, we're at the forefront of a revolution powered by technological advances like cloud computing, mobile technology, social media, and artificial intelligence – a revolution that was previously beyond our reach. The World Economic Forum refers to this as the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Salesforce Tower Dublin will be built according to our Ohana design standard, featuring a hospitality 'Ohana Floor' and immersive lobbies with video walls as architecture. This campus of four interconnected buildings in the vibrant Silicon Docks area on the River Liffey will bring all of our local employees together in one location.

The tower's top floor won't be executive offices, but a welcoming space for employees, customers, and partners to gather and host their own events. When work is done, we'll be able to stroll along the Liffey paths straight into the city's cultural hub. On evenings and weekends, the space will be available free of charge to non-profit organizations and local education groups.

Salesforce Tower Dublin is a significant milestone for the company in Ireland, where we've been part of the story from the very start – opening our Dublin hub in 2000, just one year after our founding in San Francisco. We're thrilled to celebrate another big day for Dublin with plans for a new campus, the creation of 1,500 jobs over the next five years, and an incredible $1 million USD grant to Educate Together, the educational charity that runs equality-based schools in Ireland.

As we embark on this exciting journey, we're not just building a tower – we're creating a gateway to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where technology and innovation come together to shape the future.
